Thanks, Gregg! Not a soul was there since it was raining and fairly hard, too. I am not sure whether you saw a similar shot I posted before showing more of the foreground and a guy near the fountain I posted before. That guy was Bobby. He set up his camera next to mine, I triggered it while he pretended taking picture of the fountain using (my) iPhone. Basically, only the 3 of us was shooting that morning and another photographer came a tad later.
I got a few rain drops on the lens on the right side although I had an umbrella since it was windy and I didn't want the umbrella to show on the image. I am too lazy now and didn't bother removing the drops on the image. Oh, well .

What great thread, compliments to my friends here....and a perfect weekend (its pooring rain in Heidelberg)
Vielen Dank, Werner! Deine Bilder sind einfach wunderbar! Thanks!
Joshua...we were there during the day as well, and it was raining too. But, I had my 1D4 and 24-70, so when everyone bailed out of the rain, I stayed and photographed. One great thing about the 1D4/24-70 combo!!
Wonderful shot, Tim! My wife graduated from Gettysburg College and I was on the Board of the Lutheran Seminary at Gettysburg so this brings back fond memories. Thanks for sharing.
It truly is a beautiful spot. Shame someone spray painted the rocks on the right part of the bridge foundation. They tried to remove it, but you still see it a little.

Went out to play with my new 14 stop ND and the Loxia 21/2.8. I was working on two individual images and then realized they overlap. So, I decided to create a 2 image pano from them. Each image is a 213 sec exposure in the sun!
