Well, I now have an A7R and my like-new (brand new sensor) M9 will be sold and I'll keep the M8. Nothing against the M9 whatsoever, I am just über-cautious about sensor longevity.
This A7R shot from today with a Zeiss (Rollei) 25/2.8 Distagon with EOS adapter, on a very cheap EOS-E adapter. RAM-mount fitted in glider cockpit. ISO400 and about f16.
These were very strong soaring conditions. 750 ft/min climb rate at 9,800ft altitude!

(I had to unscrew and detach the tilting part from the shifting part of the lens too mount it with tilt and shift in the same direction. Not difficult, but anyway, I do not think that I will be using both tilt and shift very often.)

Yes, Phillip, that's how it looks like. Yesterday we had some glorious sun. Today's a bit greyer, but generally speaking you get very nice weather. The landscapes are very nice and very varied. Do tell if you end up coming, if you want.
London indeed! Tube-strike was a curse and a blessing, took long to get anywhere, but it forced me to walk a lot - therefore seeing a lot of nice stuff

I will be going on a photography trip to Mexico next week with several shooting buddies of mine but we will be concentrating more on landscape/cityscape and Monarch butterfly migration places. So, I won't be taking this lens with me . But I hope to be able to use this lens before I leave. Thanks again!
This is no good. At 2000 revs (engine on) it should be closer to 14V. The 50 year old charging relay may have to be replaced.
A renovated Volvo B18B engine. Cast iron block and indestructible goes on forever, carbs still to be fitted. Will still start after a nuclear blast if Russia gets that idea. The hose on the top is a early on environmental fitting, crank house gasses are led back to carbs intake. Novel idea at the time.
A Smiths Instruments clock being removed for Quartz conversion. Smiths Instruments, king of shortcuts, made this clock which essentially is a very slow electric motor. Always fail.
But can you believe how beautiful instruments were made back in the 60's.
