Over night business trip to California. This was around 7am this morning under the Santa Monica Pier. A7 & FE35/2.8 which is such a nice small travel setup. PP in Lightroom cc.
Photo taken at 9:29 AM on June 8, 2015 of Dark Hollow Falls, Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. Image taken with my tripod mounted A7r and my Leica M WATE set to 18mm, ISO 50, lens set to about f22 for 0.4 second. Processed in LR6.
Great stuff Floyd! I have been thinking about the 24/1.4 for a few years now. How do you like it? Does your infinity stop actually work? Are you happy with the performance at f/1.4 and set to infinity? The only reason I would get one of these would be for astro.

Thanks. Ive only just got the lens so last night was the first outing with it shooting stars. I stopped down to f/2 for most of my shots but only because I was having trouble getting sharp images (I thought). I was also getting star trails with 15 second exposures which I wasnt expecting. I am finding that with my A7RII high ISO shots dont look sharp on the LCD but when I get them into lightroom they are. I have also found this sometimes with portraits where the eye doesnt look in focus when I zoom in on the LCD then it is when I view in lightroom. Its a bit annoying at times.
For me the lens seems fine wide open at infinity but I really need to use it a bit more to get a proper feel for it. I have used it for landscapes during the day and its tack sharp!
I like your dog photos Gregg and wouldn't mind seeing more! What a happy looking pair.
Probably the last chance for ice-skating, at least for a while since we're supposed to get snow tomorrow, so we went out even though it was a gloomy day.
A7 and CV 50/1.5 (#2 is from last weekend):
