Bob - a shooting funk of late For you does that mean you went for a week without taking pics? You are one of the most diehards I've seen! And as always enjoy your daily life pics!
It's been more like a couple of weeks but feels like an eternity! I had 2 1/2 weeks off from work and didn't take out the camera once. OK, so I did bring my RX100 III skiing and I did play with my new GoPro Hero 4 Black and drone . . . but I miss posting here!
Taken at a local amusement park while the grandkids were taking a ride. I didn't have my tripod of course since it was strictly a family outing but the result turned out OK for a handheld shot by an old fart . Yes, the IBIS helped.
Photo taken at 9:54 AM, October 17, 2015 from Naked Creek Overlook, Shenandoah NP, Virginia. Image taken with my tripod mounted A7r and my Leica M 90mm f2.5 Summarit lens, ISO 200, lens set to probably f11 for 1/250 second. Processed in LR6.
Days are still just a 3-4 hour sunrise/sunset, but getting longer. It's awesome to listen to the ice cracking. A deep boom, you feel it straight through the body. Very atmospheric.
A7 and CV 50/1.5 (this lens seems to be stuck on my camera lately ).
