Some shots at night. These were all shot well after sunset about 9pm on the ocean in Florida. It was quite windy making it difficult to keep the tripod steady but where I could, I used my body to block the wind.
Photo taken at 11:29 AM on June 6, 2015 of a Path and Mountain Laurel (Kalmia Latifolia) flowers can be seen, Limberlost Trail, Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. Image taken with my tripod mounted A7r and my Minolta CLE MC 40mm f2 M-Rokkor lens, ISO 200, lens set to probably f11 for 1/30 second, exposure adjusted by +.71 stops. Processed in LR6.
Wow, go away for a while and there's a ton of fantastic work to go back through and look at! I've got a backlog of my own images to attend to, so I'm going go try to work through some of those before I head to Sumatra in a few days.
A7rII + (I think) FL 55 f/1.2 @ ISO 1250:
A friend of mine called to tell me she was in town to perform with The Tedeschi Trucks Band, so I went to the show. I was given a photo pass, but wanted to enjoy the music rather than shoot, so I snapped three shots from my seat. The next day Susan, Derek, and two other band members met me for a couple beers and a short walk around town. About as down to earth people as you'll meet anywhere, despite the Grammys.
This was taken floating out in the water with the A7R, 28-70 FE, & underwater housing. And yes, this wave absolutely obliterated me a few seconds after this capture....
