New thread created after suggestion from AgeoJO.
This weekend I got the a7rii and I felt the memories of a7 file coming back to me looking at the skin tones. It's just same again. Very little I could do to change the hues on the file and feel the files are so less malleable compared to the dng of the m240.
So, I thought it must be me and my processing whivh is not getting the best of the files and thus I decided to write in this post for some guidance and suggestions and help on how can I get the colors and skin tones from the a7rii that are not having the red/magenta/purple skin hues.
I understand the colors are a personal choice but I am just asking if someone has felt like me on this thread and have come to find a way to get the look they wanted.
I use CaptureOne v9.0x and used the build in profiles for a7rii....Show more →
It is interesting that if you scroll a page back, I actually wrote a completely opposite post to yours where I said how pleased I was that the skin colors on A7RII are actually pleasing me for the first time in A7 class of cameras (I previously owned A7, A7r and A7II, but you can add A6000 to the list)...

A Loxia Sonnar 85/2 would probably solve those problems. I wonder if we'll ever see one.
And, man, Churchill is not looking much like Churchill anymore. Now he looks like a Raphael cherub.
probably, i was hoping that would be one of the first loxia lenses they made. i'm a little worried that the a loxia 85/2 sonnar would be too perfect though. i always thought the zm 85/2 and 90 cron AA were a little too well corrected at f/2.
yeah, the curls are definitely ruining the churchillesque look. every once in a while he'll make a churchillesque face though...

Great pictures, Manuel! Nr.1 looks very dramatic for a 35mm Lens. I just got a nFD 35mm f/2. I am already curious, what this little gem is capable of.
Thank you very much! You have used the right word... it is a gem, with only one big problem: flare and reflections but if you pay attention you can handle it. Hope to see soon your results

It was a bit cloudy at work today, but the super of our building let me go up to the roof and snag a pic. Landscape stuff is a bit of a weak spot for me, but can't hurt to try!
I am still going through the process of sorting/deleting/selecting image folders after image folders related to a new computer. And I found more images that didn't get posted before. This is one of the first images from a visit to Myanmar. The lens used is the much maligned Sony Zeiss 24-70mm f/4 OSS.
