Rene, your BW shot of the stairs on the prior page is amazing. The depth and form in that one really sing out. Unlike other shots that are of already dramatic building fascades, that one is of a rather mundane subject treat in such a way as to make it really dramatic. Wow. I liked your beachside dried plants from the page before that as well. Quite a range in two pages!
Amazing pictures everyone. I just got a Canon 24-70 f2.8 L II and a Metabone IV adapter and tried them on my a7II today. The AF is very snappy. I had a Canon 24-70 f2.8 L II before when I shot Canon so I know how sharp that lens is. I am very happy with this combo. The Canon 24-70 + the Metabone combo weights less and is shorter than the new Nikon 24-70 VR!
I love the shot of the tree frog! Have always wanted to shoot this little fella!

Is the Sony rig I used the perfect travel rig for nature? Not hardly, but if I would doing CR again I'd take it. The only thing I couldn't do was the owls at night (we imaged 5 species of owls while there) and for that I needed the Canon flash system. Not that Sony doesn't have flash that is capable, I just don't have it-
MedicineMan404 - Love your CR series
Fred - You really have a great style. Very nice!
navmannz - John, thanks for the image! I think that Ultron may have a smoother bokeh
dbehrens - Dave, love the Christmas tree shot
Joshua - your people pics are the gold standard!
Here are a few different desert locations, all nearby, from this afternoon. These are all taken with the A7RII using the Tamron SP 35/1.8.These are all taken closed down to F/11 to F/16

Thank you, Dale! Your desert landscape images are awesome! I remembered your impressive images from Grand Canyon a while back.
