Photo taken about 3 minutes before sunset on June 6, 2015, from the overlook near Big Meadows Lodge, Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. Image cropped slightly and taken with my tripod mounted A7r and my Leica M WATE set to 21mm, ISO 100, lens set to probably f8 for 1/80 second. Processed in LR6.
Nice pics everyone! Here's one more pic entering into The Subway in Zion NP - with a Christmas tree guarding the entrance. Stitched from A7r and 24-70 FE.

Here are a few images of folks in San Miguel Allende. I found out that not only they didn't mind having their images taken but some of them actually (semi) posed willingly. The images of the younger folks are more spontaneous without them being aware they pictures were taken. The parents of the young girl in the last image used some kind of video light that appeared like fill-in flash.
I'm happy to see more images with the 24-70FE on this thread and yours are just beautiful. It's had so much unnecessary bad press and I'm quite happy with mine and how it renders.

Still playing with my new Tamron SP 35/1.8. This image is shot wide open at 1/60 sec hand held at minimum focus distance. Full frame, no cropping. I wish I had an Ultron 35 with focusing adapter for comparison. So far I like the lens a lot even though it has some weird ring bokeh under certain conditions. The auto focusing is fast and precise with the Metabones IV adapter. The lens focusing ring is wide and has a smooth motion for manual focus.
I took the 7Dii + 300/2.8isii and the A7Rii + 70-400gii. After the trip I tallied up all the shots and I used the Sony 2.5 times more than the Canon. The reason is that we hiked daily, anywhere from 4-8 miles and for those of you who've been to Costa Rica know the hills are long and steep and the humidity high...that and the heat; the Sony rig was just lighter and I could push the ISO much more on the A7Rii than on the 7Dii and that helped in the canopy.
Is the Sony rig I used the perfect travel rig for nature? Not hardly, but if I would doing CR again I'd take it. The only thing I couldn't do was the owls at night (we imaged 5 species of owls while there) and for that I needed the Canon flash system. Not that Sony doesn't have flash that is capable, I just don't have it-
I even left the FE 16-35 at home and for lanscape (which obviously wasn't my focus for CR) I used a GX8 and the 7-14. Not that CR doesn't have landscape opportunities, there are plenty, I just wanted to focus on bugs, snakes, and birds-
I've done BBIF (big firds in flight, and bears in flight) with the A7Rii, if I could peg a weakness of this body it would be the FPS and the EVF refresh rate but there weren't that many BIF opportunities in CR, when they did fly it was from one dark shadowy area of the canopy 5 feet away to another dark shady spot. So lots of still shots and portraits-
I'm not a 'birder' and have no 'list' I just like to image them because they are beautiful and a challenge-especially the owls. CR is not as easy to image birds as Florida is but there are more to choose from that's for sure.
This was my first trip using the 70-400gii with the LAEA-3 and I have no complaints. I think I carried it for over 20 miles total. Also of note is the Nissin i-40, nothing but good to say about that flash and I diffused it with some packing foam like you'd find around a DVD play-the thin stuff. Of course the 70-400gii is not weather sealed and we did go at the end of the rainy season (or beginning?) and out of 21 days had only 2 afternoons when we hiked in actual rain.
