On the image page you want to link, click the share icon on the bottom right of the photo, click the "Grab the HTML/BBCode" arrow and copy the BBCode for the large setting (1024 pixels) and paste it into the body of your post. If you want the image to be in the center of the post, paste the code in between these brackets..

Having ordered an A7R, I am expecting to receive it on Monday. Currently 20% of the way through this thread...!
Enjoying so many images and can't wait to try my swag of alt lenses
Sony Australia give a free adapter voucher and vertical grip (for once it seems I can get the A7(r) cheaper here in Aus) so I will be getting the Metabones III for Canon. I have Hawks and Kipon adapters for Leica M and also cheapies for FD, C/Y and PK etc.
Many of my lenses were already dual-use for my Nex5N and 5DIII or already Leitaxed or Conurused Contax Ns, so I feel I am extremely well positioned to enjoy the strengths of the 7R, without stretching it into ill-suited territory.
All with the A7 and the CV35/1.2 II except the panorama and the first car picture are with the CV15/4.5. The pano is the in-camera one. I hadn't done one of those with the A7, it seems less temperamental than the Nex-7.
I definitely should have brought some AF glass for pictures of cars in motion.
I picked up a Novoflex Nikon to Sony adapter today and these are the first few pics taken with it. I'm pretty happy with the results so far and find focusing easier than ever. I have turned off peaking and wait for the object i'm focusing on to "shimmer". Sometimes the peaking dots get in the way.

Cool shot, but too many stitch errors in the bottom half.
2 heads on the right have issues, plus lots of little ones, incl the last A in DAYTONA.
Some remarks on stray light and inner reflections because of the adapter.
As you can see in the above pictures of mine in photo 1 the down leftcorner and the second photo the left uppercorner you see stray light from inner reflections due to the adapter, just like I have with some of my C/Y Zeiss lenses.
I found an even better solution for this then rubber rings with the adapters I have at home. If you use --to Leica M- adapters first and then put them on the Leica M to E mount adapter all the stray light is gone.
To Leica M adapters cover the chrome parts of the Contax and Leica R mounts much better and are all black inside. Works fine
The disadvantage is the use of two adapters but somehow my -to Leica M- adapters are way better build.
I will buy a Novoflex adapter for C/Y soon because they seem to cover the chrome parts also quiet well but for the time being this is allright.
