Nothing special here but testing out the CV Ultron 35/1.7. Stopped down this lens is bitingly sharp! Wide open, it has some nice character. The last image is wide open with the VM-E close focus adapter.

Werner we are sailing many times through that bridge at Worms with Chemgas gas tankers.
And it's not easy sailing on the river Rhine with that very low water, not deeper then 150 cm.
Nice you take that picture!!
I got together with fellow FM member "Kingfishphoto" recently to purchase his new Metabones Canon EF Lens to Sony NEX Smart Adapter (Mark IV) that came with his A7RII. I was using a low cost adapter that just never performed well, even in manual mode. The Metabones, however is really amazing, especially with the new firmware upgrade I immediately downloaded and installed. (nice feature)
Here are a couple of my first images taken with the A7RII, The Metabones IV and the Canon EF 85/1.8 wide open.

Nicola : Nr 5 is Wow.. and the rest is great also !
Thanks Ronny.
I like to carry my GR and the A7 with a short tele when hiking.
I've found the Leica 90 Elmarit-M at a very good price but would like more close focus reach.
This shot is an example of the elmarit mounted on helicoid (a bee sucking nectar on a flower in mid-November at 2000 meters, impressive)
Ronny:
How do you feel your 100 Macro Planar in hand on the A7 (first generation) sony?
Does the Contax version be smaller or lighter in comparison with the ZF Nikon?
Someone in the forum could also share his experience with the 90 macro G sony?
Thanks
