My wife and I were walking around NYC last weekend while visiting our daughter. A bit of sensory overload for us tourists, but a lot of fun and the weather was outstanding.
The first images are from a model shoot that was going on in Central Park, so I grabbed one shot in between their shots.
We also walked down West 30th street and walked right into an HBO pilot being filmed (The Deuce) during a break in the action. The theme is set in the late 60's early 70's and many actors were getting ready for the next take as we walked by. Where can I find some pants like that?!
And then there's the never ending building of new apartments...

In Australia we woke to the horrible news. Our hearts are with you and your country. I cannot fathom the depth of despair, and our prayers are with you!
Just saw the news too, shame. Sadly, probably not the last we'll see of this. This is a product of letting in massive amounts of people that will never, ever share your cultural values -- you essentially end up creating local recruiting stations for terrorists. A difficult situation, because surely many immigrants just want a better life and want peace--how to separate them from evil ones? An impossible task.
