Just had a fun little walkabout with my 2 year old son at a sculpture garden. We've had the most mild fall ever in Colorado. All shot with the Minolta 28-135, the so-called "Secret Handshake." Really loving this big hunk of metal and glass. All straight out of camera. Converted from RAW.
I applied Fred's new landscape sharpening and edge enhancement LR profile here with detail slider reduced to 45 instead of 80. The sharpness and detail in those photos when zoomed in is incredible!
I was recently in Las Vegas for a wedding. We didn't have time to get in some hiking, but we made the time to cruise through Red Rock Canyon.
Without the time to get out and hike, I tried for a shot that would convey both the natural beauty of Red Rock Canyon as well as the only way I could experience it on this day, from the car.
