Stunning images all around everyone! I love coming to this thread!
I'm hoping it clears up this weekend, so I can go out and shoot for a little while. I tried to take a few images today, but it isn't really the best day for it. I did manage to get decent keeper:
Phillipe, thank you for your review on DearSusan! Very informative, great images and frankly the review seeded my idea of moving from SEM21 to Loxia. Will see how it turns. For now, SEM21 works well for me (extra PP aside) and it’s semi-permanently mounted on Kolari modded A7R.
Having two Sony A7x bodies on my recent trip (one with SEM21 and A7RM2 with 35/50) proved to be a great idea for capturing images in various conditions where swapping lenses would be hardly possible or convenient.
A7R is definitely to stay just for the sake of convince.
Rich, this should give you similar freedom of selecting various lenses for your work. If you opt for Zeiss ZM 35D, you could use it on modded A7R for stopped down landscaping (tack sharp in extreme corners) and on A7RM2 for close-mid distances at wider apertures. Win win situation.
Gregg, love your post processing on the car photo above!
Thank you Helena! I always love your images
Rene...nice set! I have to admit, though, I do prefer your bw's!!
Terry...nice grab with the 25. That's an awesome lens!
Jack...another incredible sets!! For most images, which f-stop do you use(21SEM)? And for some reason, I still seem to have a touch of magenta floating around my images? Must play more!

Thank you Gregg! Love the post processing on the car btw!
I had a mix up at the local camera store last week. They gave me the 25 2.0 instead of the 2.8. So I returned it and got the right lens today. Tomorrow it is going to be nice, so I get to give it a full whirl.
So far though, I really like it. I might of also pre ordered the Batis 85 ... ok no might of, I did.
Not an image with a pleasant subject. This is the living space of people in the center of Lille just beside the railroad track as seen from a bridge. Notice the rats crawling around.
Rich, for a second I thought the Blue Angel flew out of the "opening" of the tower.. Great catch! I shoot the Blue Angels 4 or 5 time a year, with my big DSLR, never tired of seeing that kind of flying skills.

I shoot landscapes at f/8 or between f/8 - f/11 at max to avoid diffraction. For street shots, as on past few pages, I mostly used f/5.6 On occasion, and to isolate subject, I shoot wide open.
As for magenta removal please try -5 to -10 'Purples' slider in HLS/Grayscale tab of ARC after applying CornerFix.
Here again, pictures from 2014 Bond in Motion exhibition. I've just discovered googling that exhibition has proved so successful it is to stay open indefinitely (!)
This "car" was special for me because it marked my thinking when I was a child so has been a great emotion to see live... my only regret is for the poor quality of composition due to lack of previous "usual unknown" lessons
