Last night were some of the most powerful Auroras I have seen. The whole sky was filled with ribbons, curtains and spirals, constantly changing. Not even 15mm was wide enough to capture the grandeur of it.

Very nice sebboh. Would be interesting to here how you compare that lens to the CY 35/1.4?
well, i can carry 6 luxes for every one contax:
the lenses are very different. the lux is a perfect ergonomic fit for the a7 while the contax is giant and overly front heavy.
the contax is noticeably sharper and a lot less glowy at full aperture. the lux has a very classic mandler rendering – very glowy wide open but getting pretty sharp and contrasty stopped down with vignetting that never fully goes away. the contax, as you know, has a ton of pop while the lux has very long transition to out of focus due to SA that makes it more difficult to focus but also more forgiving of missed focus. the looks are very different. the lux is my wife's prefered lens to have her picture taken with fwiw.
i mostly shoot the contax at f/1.4 or f/5.6-11. i mostly shoot the lux at f/2-f/5.6.
here's an exploration of the bleak desolation of the family trip to the pumpkin patch with the contax:

Playing with Sumac. Today I picked up the Sony 70-400G2. I had previously shot with the Tamron 150-600 (also A-Mount) and felt unsure of the lens and image quality. Yes, I had some sharp shots but definitely soft on longer end. Well this Sony is wonderful. Many more keepers while handholding and the lens is definitely sharper. I like the color rendering of this lens over the Tamron as well. I think this is a keeper . . . now to sell my 70-200/4!
The shots below are among the first shots taken and are all handheld.

Gregg, the Summilux you use with cars got me really interested in Leitz for a change. Very nice images incl much tasteful BW conversion.
Thanks Wilhelm! Here are a few more car grabs from Canepa Motorsports...you should Google it. He has an impressive collection!
Impressive shots everyone! Including you too, Ronny!

Simply stunning images the last couple pages! I really can't pick favorites anymore (though I'm not going to lie, I want one of the McLaren cars that Gregg photographed).
