JaKo - yep! It's great. I don't use it as much as I should though I went out with 21, 35, 60, 80 today (first two M, last 2 R) and that was actually a pretty nice set.
Three from a day or so ago, shooting the setting sun in the desert. In the third shot, I thought the right cloud formation looked like an eagle swooping in for its prey, hence the plural "bird" title
I finally bought myself an A7RII last Friday and spent the weekend with it at the beach. The two Ultrons (21 and 35) completely lose their magenta corners which is really nice, but the other big gain was with my Apo-Lanthar 180. This had been a gorgeous lens to use on my OM-D, but never quite delivered on the A7R - now I know why - shutter shock. Its simply transformed with the combo of electronic first curtain and image stabilization.
Not so sure about the effects that 42MP has on processing times in LR

Ultron 35 in APS-C mode, given the 50cm min focus - the green ankle wear took my eye!
Ultron 35 again - native dune binder...
Apo-Lanthar 180 at minimum focus - forest spider orchid
Apo-Lanthar in APS-C mode - NZ dotterel - one of our rare coastal birds
Wow, really good stuff everyone.
Werner, I nearly got a petzeval and you show why
cputeq, lovely, and John, great crab and shorebird
Charles K you also had a wonderful set very recently which I had meant to compliment you upon
Derek, love that set
and so many others in the last few pages too.
In 1930 our town was the largest sheep station outside Australia. Thank god not any more . They are very nasty in the backcountry, have spread cheatgrass all over the west, the guard dogs can be dangerous, and the ranchers rely on enslaved peruvians.
Worried they might be shut out of the backcountry, the ranchers started a festival about a decade ago and though intellectually I hate sheep, on a personal level I like them and the whole heritage thing
The sheep seemed to have an idea how it was likely to end (they are mostly for meat here, now), and there was alot of rebellion and chaos
On the A7.mod I had the 300/2.8 EDIF and my 28 cron on the M9. Nice little spread there My hit rate was better than expected, handheld too. After you swing the 500/4 around for few minutes the 300 seems like a feather
That's a lot of sheep Charlie!!

We went to get pumpkins today up the coast from Santa Cruz. Apparently, everyone else got the memo, too!!

Every year I shoot this old truck I need to do it when it's not daylight next time! @f2.4
Bob, congrats on your new lens!
Philip, great shots, which confirm the high opinion I have of the Milvus 50 f:1.4
And so many delightful cars, trucks, pumpkins. And yeah, sheep too...
In many situations it has much nicer Bokeh than the Loxia and it is much sharper and contrastier around f/1.4 than classic fast 50's but man that beast is huge:
