Photo taken about 7 minutes after sunrise (sunrise was about 4:50 AM), June 27, 2015 from near the top of Cadillac Mountain overlooking part of Bar Harbor and islands in Frenchman Bay, Mount Desert Island, Acadia NP, Maine. Image taken with my tripod mounted A7r and my Minolta CLE MC 40mm f2 M-Rokkor lens, ISO 200, lens set to probably f11 for 1/100 second. Processed in LR6.
Have been waiting for some of the features on the A7RII since the Nex 5n, mainly for legacy glass. Family tension over my moment-killing manual focus skill requires some auto focus lenses.
More auroras with the A7R2 and Samy/Rok 24 f/1.4. These were made Tuesday night/Wednesday morning just as both the clouds and latest aurora storm were moving in. I was lucky to get out that night. We missed the rest of the aurora show :-(
