Charlie,
That second shot - "The Light" - has beautiful tones and is a wonderful composition. Did you stick that on your Leica or use a Nikon with it?
There are a number of ways of mounting a camera to a motorcycle - I had an arca style clamp attached to the fairing of my 74 BMW so I could shoot video as I was riding
Gero
TY for kind words Gero, almost missed them in the swift current of great photography in this thread
If I had a M240, I could try and use it, but my Leica is M9, so I would need a viso, maybe there is some way, but I don't know it. I use A7.mod (kolari), and JaKo taught me about the profiles, then Michael uploaded some nice ones special for that camera and Leica glass. That may be what i started with. I try not to do too much, since the sony RAWs make noise when you blink. It was a very high natural contrast.
If you want a laugh, google "motorcycle rifle mount" OMG
More fun with the nikkor super tele-elmar 500/4 P :
Greggf, like the look of the 85 on the Sony. Such a great lens.
Sebboh, nice that you found a patch of mountain and sky not impacted by all of the fires.
Scenes from a sand castle team building excursion from work. We received building technique instruction for about 15 minutes from pro sand castle builders and some periodic coaching along the way and then, presto! Really remarkable what can be learned in a short period of time. Easily the best such activity that I have participated in.
Seems like the pics are just getting better and better on this thread! Fall color has arrived on the Deschutes River, Oregon. A7r + CYZ 100-300 VS @ probably 100mm - stitched.
