My first post to this forum and novice A7 user as well. Gorgeous photos in this thread. Samuli, my co-patriot, really put some nice moonlight photos! Here are some photos I had time to take last weekend, camera is turning 1 week tomorrow, so not much of daylight yet as I need to work for living...

Also REALLY love using my 50MPZE again.. It's such a pleasure to use now that it's on the A7 (although I never understood why the lens was so big, the elements are TINY I x-rayed it the other day and man WTF was Zeiss doing making it so big).
I assume it's the helical.
anyway Id be very interested in seeing pictures its highly relevant to my interests.
You guys temped me to much.. I ran out and bought a A7 (55FE still not available in Singapore).
Using it with a few Leica lenses, and I find that it makes the 50Noct soft, but the 50LUX and the 50APO seem ok on it (not perfect though). Also REALLY love using my 50MPZE again.. It's such a pleasure to use now that it's on the A7 (although I never understood why the lens was so big, the elements are TINY I x-rayed it the other day and man WTF was Zeiss doing making it so big).
Anyway thank you all for taking such great pictures and making me spend more money.
(Oddly enough my wife is really quite happy though, she thinks the A7 and 50MPZE is a breeze to use and prefers it to all my other gear).
Congrats Adam, and glad to see you here My fiancee, Marisa loves the A7r and FE 35, and definitely prefers it over the RX1r. I suppose it is just so easy to use. The 50 Nocti f/1.0, works better on the A7r with the Novaflex adapter, than on the M240. The 50 Lux just does not work well and it seems fine for close central images, but that is it with the A7r. The 50 Cron DR is perfect. Have fun!!!
Nice pics everyone! . . . and from -25 degrees Montreal the beach scenes look especially nice! Here are some indoor shots of the Montreal auto show, taken with the OM 21mm f/3.5, Voigtlander 40mm f/1.4 Nokton and Voigtlander 90mm f/3.5 APO Lanthar.

Taken with Voigtlander 90mm f/3.5 APO Lanthar at ISO 500
Taken with Voigtlander 40mm f/1.4 Nokton at either f/1.4 or 1.7 at ISO 2500
Taken with the Olympus Zukio 21mm f/3.5 at ISO 1000 (cropped out top of picture)
Shot from a function with A7r and 50 Cron Rigid DR 1964. I am revisiting some of my images over the last month, and found the PP'ing I was not happy with then, and now trying different presets. I am having the most success with the Camera Neutral for portraits.
