What a backlog of photos I have after all the little trips this summer. Here are some from Sardinia in June. All A7 and C/Y 28/2.8, except the first which is with Rokkor 58/1.2.
Love the cats photo at the top of the thread! Picked up a Canon 135/2 FD at a great price and very happy with the rendering at f/2. I bought it for portraits and I think it will do a great job.
Gregg, Batis 85mm? I like your images with the mystery lens.
We were at Half Moon Bay last week, wouldn't an 85mm Batis be great from Sams Chowder House's patio? joanlvh
Ok everyone! Thanks for playing the guessing game for me. It's a lens that's been on my bucket list for quite awhile, especially since I got the KolariMod done to my A7r. Michael(Zhangyue) talked me out of it awhile back stating that without the mod, I wouldn't really be able to realize its full potential. Jack also kinda talked me out of it too, but I just had to find out for myself! And when I found one at what I consider a very reasonable price, I jumped!!
I have the Pre-ASPH version of the Summilux M 50, and I love it. Really, I do...It's a phenomenal lens, but does have a few shortcomings, namely, it really doesn't ever get sharp into the corners, but, that's not what it was designed for, really....
In comes the Summilux M 50 ASPH
And so far, I love it....This lens rocks...
