This thread has some very encouraging shots! I tried out 6 different alts from top of the Rockefeller Center (NYC) all handheld shots in the span of about 90 min. The lens are the OM 21mm f/3.5 (SC); Zeiss ZE 21mm; OM 28mm f/3.5, CV 40mm f/1.4; Minolta 58mm f/1.2; and CV APO Lanthar 180mm f/4. The difference in time/light are obviously not fair to what the lens can deliver but it is what it is.
Im still holding out on what to choose in native mount but I do have the 24-70 on pre-order. Besides that I will probably wait and see what 2014 will promise before I start shuffling lens especially for an UWA. I did order the CV APO Lanthar 90mm f/3.5 and so far this lens is promising but it did not arrive in time for this trip.

OM 21mm f/3.5 (SC) although I like this lens and probably will keep it for travel, I want a different lens for serious landscape use.
Zeiss 21mm ZE my current 21mm champion but hoping something at least half its weight will be able to replace it. The only thing Ive seen so far that seems to fit the ticket is the Leica 16-18-21 WATE but the $$$$ has that thought on hold.
OM 28mm f/3.5 this lens has pleasantly surprised me but I hope the Zeiss 24-70 f/4 will make it redundant.
CV 40mm f/1.4 Nokton this lens is my favorite walk-around. Its fast and only 175 grams! It is the reason why I have not purchased either the 35mm or 55mm Sonys.
Minolta Rokkor 58mm f/1.2 I really like how this lens is balanced on the A7r. . . and finally I have infinity focus. This lens is a keeper!
CV 180mm APO Lanthar love the lens and its only 485 g but not sure if I will keep it because my (ugh! 925 g) C-Y Zeiss 100-300 mm is an incredible lens - more versatile and very sharp.

One from yesterday, the five story pagoda is a national treasure. Taken with the A7r and the CZ21 Distagon ZE. Not sure if I am happy with the processing on this one or not.
Due to the drought conditions in California, we've had very little wind for weeks and an unusual amount of air pollution, which of course creates interesting sunsets. Unfortunately, we really need our normal winter storms.
Some more from Ijmuiden. On the second photo fisherman fishing near the coolwater outlet from the Tata steelplant. May be the warm water helps to attract fish. Mostly from Turkish origine, must feel like the Bosporus, but not as beautiful.
