Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
I captured this by the beach close to my hotel. What an amazing place!
This was a 3-bracketed photo taken with my FE 16-35/4.
Which one do you prefer?
Fred, I love both but if I had to pick one, #2 would be it. Just beautiful. I have always struggled to figure out where to focus for a shot like that. The big rock on the left? Or 1/3 into the frame? Please chime in, folks. Thank you.

Photo taken about 7:30 AM on June 6, 2015 of a Doe White Tail Deer and her recently born nursing Fawn at the Byrd Visitor Center, Big Meadows, Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. Image cropped and taken with my tripod mounted Leica R 280mm f4 Apo Telyt lens with my Leica R 1.4X Apo Extender and my A7r; ISO 400, lens set to effective aperture of f8 at 1/250 second. Processed in LR6.
Fred: I would be insanely happy, if I were able to capture a landscape like that. Amazing work. I prefer No.2, because of the stronger warm colors on the horizon.
Werner: Wonderful use of this old lens. The OOF sun light is excellent.
Rene: Beautiful landscape shots again. I really like the natural color rendition.
Greggf: Beautiful bokeh and colors in that leave shot.
Mike: Outstanding night shot.
Charles: Wonderful work with the Cron.
Joshua: Welcome back. All those shots are excellent, but I like the shallow-depth-of-field shot with the Sangria signs best.

Just about to leave for trip to Spain.
I am now happy I have my A7rII and A7s for the trip.
Hi Charles, enjoy the trip! I remembered that your wife is from Spain. Any particular region you guys will be visiting?
I enjoyed Spain tremendously and in a lot of ways. Although I was there as a student many years ago but my recent visit to that country was pretty much like the very first time.
Your selection of cameras is just great. I wished I had both cameras for my trip. The A7 II did very well though but I felt that it was a tad "resolution-hungry" because Sony announced the A7r II already but I loved the A7s for its low light capability.
Werner, Michiel, jviegas, Mike, Chris88, Rich, and Jordan...excellent images all!
Sean...another ZM 35 1.4 owner...very nice! Love this lens!
Joshua...nice to see you back!!

Thanks! Just took delivery of the Batis 85/1.8 for review...glad I'll have one day with it on the A7R II, as I have to send the camera back at the end of the day. A quick test shot at f/1.8. This gon' be good.
A few shots I took at a charity event that I volunteered at a few weeks back (nothing much more recent than this unfortunately). I have been a rider in this event that raises money for cancer research for many years (23), but due to a knee problem, I had to bail out at the last minute this year. It still felt good to contribute and also try out an FE 70-200 f/4 that I rented for 4 days. The last shot is of our governor, Charlie Baker, on the far left getting in on a group selfie. Here was a moment that I felt confident in being able to pull detail from some pretty serious shadows as this scene was very strongly back lit...and the A7r came through for me.
Great shot s Werner ,Rene ,Michiel ,Gregg Jordan ,Charles,Rich,Sean ,chris and Joshua
Stunnig set Fred and js426
Fred: #2 for me also .. is a wall hanger!
