Just get it!!! It's fabulous . . .
Bob, I know that! You, Charles, and some others say so, and prove it. I wasn't originally sold on it, but you changed my mind. Then the French distributor let it be known that teh first shipment to France was due any day, so I placed my order. That was over 4 weeks ago, and since then, no news. So, yes, I agree, I just can't get my hands on the bloody thing! I am not a happy camper, knowing that other WA offerings will come soon after that. My guess is, they should be announced within a month, maybe less.
René, Ronny, thanks for the kind words. I wonder, are all guys with a first name that starts with an "r" and has "n" as a third letter great phographers, or just you two?
I'm shocked! Outperforming in AF my 300 2.8 IS II, my 100-400ii, my 400DOii this shot in the early a.m., no Sun, completely overcast via a $329 dollar lens (DigitalRev) that can AF via AF-C, AF-S, use either S,M,L spots; a lens that can go from near to far/far to near (e.g. 70 to 300) and obtain focus in less than a second ---something my 'big whites' cannot do without manual assist. Pixel peeping will tell you this is a $329 dollar lens but also know this shot was using the crop mode set in the menu, anyway this shot via the Tamron 70-300 + Metabones IV + A7Rii. With the $329 Tamron 70-300mm by MedicineMan4040, on Flickr
In the last days this thread seems have turned the Turbo ON
Fantastic images and lot of lenses... so many inspirations... thank you, thank you, thank you
Here a couple of my macro tests. Second one is out of focus, a bit shake and nothing special as composition but I like very much the softness of this lens
About a week ago I noticed a gap of about 7 hours between posts. Now the "Likes" have been turned back on it seems more like 7 seconds. So many amazing shots to look at I couldn't single anyone's out but, I do one day want to learn how to produce black and white images like René's.
