Shelt - it's always fun to see you post pictures from our neck of the woods. Now you've posted an image from one of our most frequent hikes, Tennessee Valley. One day we'll cross paths, I'm sure. You'll recognize me by the A7RII in my hands!
And...you'll also recognize me by my new a7rm2, which is rapidly becoming my favorite camera ever. We'll definitely have to get together! I regularly expect to run into you or Sebboh in the Headlands! BTW, I'm out there all the time with Marin Search & Rescue, so stop by if you see us out there...
Got a chance to get out and shoot early this morning. Have to say, the A7R II with the FE 55/1.8 is amazing. So much detail. Very good DR for the most part...how much better than the A7 II, I'm not sure, but it's certainly good.
A few shots from this morning. I'm really happy with the first two, more meh on the others, but here they are anyway. I used the FD 20/2.8 quite a bit this morning, and it performed fairly well. All here are with that, save for the second, which is with the FE 55/1.8.
I don't look for a few days, and this thread is filled with more images than I can name, Michiel, Werner Ronnie, Charles, Gregg, many others I can't list all the fabulous ones.
C'm on Fred, please put the likes back.
Let me just say Rene, your most recent image impresses me as always with what you can do with BW.
We were in a small boutique'y town yesterday, and saw this '51 Studebaker parked on the street.

Wow, A7RII this, Batis that; many new things happening on this thread recently and surely exciting times for photography. Congrats to all owners of new toys!
