Wonderful shots everyone! Hopefully the "like" button is back soon
Shot from one of the first mornings with A7rII. I am really liking the files and depth of colours compared to the A7r. The PP'ing is very different and will take a while to optimize the workflow. The sharpening in Lr is quite different also.
Without the Like button, it is hard to congratulate all those who deserve it on such a fast-moving thread.
Still, René (your yard shot with the 'Lux 35 is fantastic), Jordan, Bob, Werner, Paul, sachman...

Thanks John. Wasn't sure how folks here felt about this type of photo manipulation. It's been experimentation for me. Here's a few more samples. All were very simple images of the type I am typically know for taking here . . . urban or natural landscapes.
Those are simply stunning. Gorgeous doesn't cover it.
It was becoming so difficult to keep up with this thread, and the other forums on FM I post to, that I've skipped a few months. Big mistake
I also spent a month in Europe/Middle East and damaged ligaments in my ankle and PCL in my knee, so leg up and zero photography for a few months
In Iceland I mainly used my Nikon gear but kept the A7 for quick access snaps. Big mistake, I really should have used it far more, especially around towns/villages and people. Lesson learned. Though I have to say Sony's hoods are driving me crazy, their snap-on being absolutely crap and always coming off - I eventually lost the hood for the 55/1.8 even though I had duct tape supplementing the native snap lock.
Anyway here are 3 shots from Husavik, these were taken whilst on the boat trip to search for (and find) whales. First two with the A7 and 28/2 and 3rd (slightly desaturated) with the 55/1.8.
Charles, René, great images! It seems everyone has gotten his Batis 25 by now, except me. I supopse I'll get it once the weather turns to c**p... I would have loved to have it on my last excursion, and confirm that it is indeed a great imagemaker.
Until then, more ZM 35 f:1.4
Frogfish - stunning landscapes
Rene - I love your black and white style
Charles - Wonderful horse portrait. Gotta love that A7rII + Batis 25 combo
Bulletlavolta - Lovely landscape
Philippe - You're showing what the ZM can really do!
This morning I was too lazy to carry the tripod so I tried a couple of higher ISO handheld HDRs
Great shot Bob ,Philipe,Werner,Charles ,Kevin,Michiel, bulletlavolta, Rene and Jordan
Kevin : Really nice shot from Iceland... want to see more I.m going to Iceland in late sept
I also want to see the Like button back.. and nr of likes and who liked it !
Philber, great shots with the ZM 35/1.4 on the A7R II. There appears to be no evidence of colour shift at the edges. Has this been your experience with this lens / camera combo or is it just not obvious from shots posted here? Also, do the corners smear on the R II with this lens? I am weighing up the relative advantages of the ZM 35/1.4 and the Loxia 35/2 for use on the a7r ii.
