I only shoot in raw, and convert with ACR. I use most often camera standard or neutral, but for reportage shots like this one, I select camera vivid because the rendering is very similar to my Leica M9.
I only correct WB and exposure, and in some shots added a little contrast (+15 to +25).
Exactly what I was looking for, vivid it is! Your shots above look exactly like the ones I've seen from the preproduction models. I only shot on cloudy days so I wasn't sure which mode was used, thanks!
I have to get back to this spot, because I did not have the right equipment to photograph this for my series. Passed it many times along the highway and this time I stopped but I only had a tabletop tripod with me, that's why this ackward point of view.
I have often wondered, but the light where you live seems fundamentally different than anywhere I have lived. Over systems your pictures have the same color signature. Other people from that area seem to have the same color palette too.
do you look at us westerner's photos and feel the same way?
