I thought I would do my part to spread the "accurate" truth of this lens. I took possession of it from another FM member.

THANK YOU John!!!!

I have not had nearly enough time with it as it arrived just this morning. BUT..............This thing is simply AMAZING in its ability to render an image. I have it on my D4 and have NEVER witnessed such beauty in a lens. In close as well as at distance it was tack sharp wide open at point of focus. This is going to be a fun piece of kit!!!!

Thanks all of the contributors to this thread for helping me understand its strengths and how to harness them. Here's to getting the gear out!!!
