This lens has a nice rendering quality to it. It excells at smoothing out the light. Shot on a D810 in RAW and imported into Photos on OSx. Both shot at f/1.4. Top picture unedited. Bottom picture edited to bring out the shadows a bit more.
This was in London.
London as well. It really handles harsh light well.
Thank you Charles, I've been using just one camera and one lens...the df and the 58 and it is becoming a familiar habit of learning how they jell. I especially love this combo for family shots.

I enjoy that banter but I've become more focused on using what I like to create what I love. It's a slow development but it's teaching me patience which is something I need in this love of photography.
dude this is sick. its an in camera dual back ground and I love it. one in focus with pop off the screen reds and one OOF creamy pastel colors back ground in perfect symmetry.
