Nice contributions to the image thread everyone. The df and 58mm are my go to combo 85% of the time, here are some from this weekend with family in Mt.Rainier where we camped/hiked Paradise trail and celebrated baby Daniels bday.
Love your series here, Ani! You consistently get your images to pop with this Df/58 combo. Love the 3d look, the colors, the detail, the compositions... it's all working very well for you! Great work!

BAM!
It's already on its way to a new owner. I found a replacement with very very similar character in the same focal length family that has wicked smooth bokeh and costs way less.
The 58G is great, I just can't make myself pay that much for a 50 that I can only really use for outdoor portraits. It's too expensive for so small of a niche, and it's not quite sharp enough to use for studio portraits wide open like I do with my 50 Art.
But that rendering....hopefully the replacement lens has similar enough character when it arrives on Monday, or else I'll be another $1k+ in the hole again for another 58G.

Hello All, I am newly registered (after having read for months). One main reason why I finally did register has been to express my admiration to some of you for these great pictures taken with the 58mm F/1.4G.
I have owned it for years and as much as I like many of my own shots sometimes I have thought about letting it go ... Not anymore, as I have come to understand my pains much better with many comments and pictures in this forum ;-)
