Attended my cousin wedding recently and brought the 58G along to sneak in some shots. This is the first time I use the lens in a formal setting and most shots turn out pleasing to me with very minor LR edits. Even the misfocused shot (last shot of father and bride) look nice to me due to how smooth this lens renders in the transitional area.
We had our 7 weeks young granddaughter Milou for one night, so her parents could have some sleep during the night.
She didn't kept us awake during the night, just one feeding.
At almost MFD with the 58; not it's strongest point. Not the sharpest, but her smile is priceless for us.
Love the D750 in combo with the 58G.
