First few frames with the 58, Ive tried lots of 50s for Nikon, never LOVED any,
This might be it. Huge huge fan of the 50L and this feels just like that.

Thanks! It's a little out of my comfort zone. I usually like to keep things pretty bright without heavy vignettes, but this just seemed to work.

I have an engine/motor revisor in my contacts here in Switzerland. He laughted strait out when he saw this...

After puting it together down there in Africa it rans like a tiger... But how long for?

With some help from members here at FM, I decided to add this lens to my collection. UPS just showed up, and I immediately mounted it on my D750 to try it out. Wife is at work, so had to settle with the cat.

Shot at f/1.6 on my D750. Seems sharp enough for me right out of the box. I think I may like this lens.
