Took this photo of my little boy practicing his ninja moves by an incredible banyan tree. The puppy thought it looked like fun and wanted to join in! Lighting was surreal with the late afternoon sun shining through the trees.
I'll be right where you are in a few months! Just posted mine and feel I'll miss it - but sometimes you have to sell lenses when you make new purchases unless you want a divorce!

i so miss this lens, this thread makes me wanna get one back...
This lens has quickly become my absolute favourite. Such a versatile focal length - I can basically shoot anything with it.
Here are a few from a recent session where it was pouring down with rain. I had to wrap my strobe in a plastic bag. The 58 held up really well in the elements.
100% crop for those who think this lens isn't sharp. @f/2.2

@hijazist Thank you so much. I've only had a lighting set up since the beginning of this year and have had a ton of fun experimenting with off camera flash. Definitely opens up a whole new world of possibilities!
the 58mm is a very sharp lens at f1.4 in the center.
But becomes less sharp outside the center very quick, deepens on the distance of the subject.
With the next foto, the eye closer to the center is much sharper.
