I have the manual focus copy of this lens which is my all time favorite lens. So it only made sense to get the 58G. I've been meaning to share on here for some time (but im shy) so here are some random shots with the 58G on the Df.

Likewise! He's the first person from the FM community I got to work with.
It was truly an honor to meet him, his wife and little Abby in person and photograph a wedding together.
I am definitely looking forward to shooting more weddings with Ryan and his assistant Haley!
Question to those that use Lr to edit, do you guys enable the lens corrections or no? Seems to fix distortion a bunch.. Thanks!! Loving the photos in here.
The softness at 1.4 renders to me like camera shake. It lends itself well to the vsco as film lenses from that era came off soft in print at fast apertures relative to modern equipment.

I don't like the way the images change when I enable the corrections. Seems to take something of the special look away, so maybe the distortion and vignetting are a feature.
I only use the CA correction, but the automatic one doesn't work very well for me, so I use the manual one.
