Weather has been absolutely horrendous here but I managed to sneak out this beauty last night. I think I still need to work out the AF Fine Tune corrections nonetheless rendering is gorgeous.
Great work as always. Did you use ND filter on this shot?

Shot a wedding at an Air Force Museum on Saturday. The 58 was a stellar performer for me.
We did photos before the wedding. It was pretty cool to do a private "reveal" of the bride to the groom. Got a much more intimate and emotional reaction out of him.
I got out of university early today to take advantage of a bit of lovely autumn sunshine. I am loving this lens. It seems to be just the focal length I was looking for. Oh and rendering is bloody good as well

Given the strong sun from behind, the open aperture and shutter speed, in my opinion the sky is photoshopped into the image. Some of the leaves have a different color cast on top. Am I right?

Clients don't see this, so as long as they are happy, everything is allowed ;-). The party looks gorgeous.
I am not that much into the 58/1.4, but what I saw from you and others on the new 105 made me interested in this lens.
