Classic view of the bridge. Down Washington St from Brooklyn, no? Really well done - I assume you pre-focussed on her and used a timer?

You dressin like you was in San Diego! We all up in heavy jackets way out here haha!
im actually holding out for the Art 20 1.4. I really want that one. I just bought that Pixel C tablet you see int he pic but am considering real hard sending it back to get the 20 1.4 instead... not sure what to do.
Hardcore, diggin the 55 Chevy photo cause it's a 55 Chevy. But the hat photo below the Chevy is just nutz awesome. Really shows the 58 lens ability, amazing photo.
Absolutely love your images with this combination from Cuba!
I really want to go there someday and you make this wish become more urgent now!
( and i do own the same camera-lens combination now so that makes it even more a desire...)

Love the composition on this one Elijah...great perspective and angle!
Also - I don't think you could achieve the same affect during daylight hours...nicely done!

Ya, Cuba is unique that is for sure. If you want to watch a cool show, check out "cuban chrome". All about the cars and how inventive the cubans have become to keep them running.

Agreed - very nice images indeed.
You captured some great colors, light, and unique subjects. The 58mm really makes your selected backgrounds special.
Congrats on the lens purchase. Take your time with the lens. It is sometimes difficult to coax the best results out of it but when you do it pays off!
I use a lensalign chart. I shoot at multiple distances and I spent a lot of time trying to fine tune my 58mm. I finally have found the sweet spot.
You will get magenta fringing in front of the focus plain. You will get green fringing behind the focus plain so you can use that to help determine if the lens is front/back focusing.
If you notice that after a while, your lens seems to be missing focus make sure you blow off any dust or crap that may be accumulating on your focus sensors. Even a little piece of dust can throw off the focus in your DSLR.
So if my lens came with a Sigma for Nikon rear lens cap on it I should take this as a bad sign right?
I can't imagine Nikon outsourced their rear lens caps to Sigma but otherwise I'm assuming someone ordered a few of these at one time and sent this one back with the wrong rear cap on it.
