The 58G is my workhorse lens for all my shoots. Got quite busy during this last quarter of the year, and didn't have time to post any shots or check up on this thread. Despite that, I'd like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays with this recent photo:

Absolutely beautiful shots everyone! My girl and I would like to extend the "warmest" Aloha and Merry Christmas to you and your families!
Here's our human Christmas tree lol.
Wow, that's great. Hugely impressive yoga pose and a great photo of her in it.
Oddly, we had just about as warm a Christmas on the East Coast this year - over 70 on Christmas Eve, and just under 70 on Christmas Day. But walking around in shorts and tee-shirts nonetheless.
I was shooting with the 58 all day yesterday. First a bunch of family stuff not for public consumption, and then I took a walk around town enjoying the warm weather. Here are a few from that...

Thanks for the "super-flexible" greetings and your aloha from Hawaii.
Was there only once a bit longer than 3 years ago and loved it so much.
Had a short time there on Kauai and Maui and had to leave for very cold Germany back then,
where i live, just after 2 weeks ( coming from Australia, where i spent 3 fabulous weeks
before).
Defenitely miss the sea there and the gentle breeze and lush tropical forests.
And i do miss the people too !
Have a happy and healthy new year 2016 yourself and enjoy taking pictures!
I've been lurking this thread for a long time. Such an exotic beast has been way out of my range until recently when I decided to trade up and simplify my set of primes. After pouring over all the incredible images here (went through the whole thread twice now), you all have convinced me it was well worth it.. so now I am finally one of you! I've had it for about a week now, and because I have read so much about your experiences, I knew what to expect so I didn't have to go through the initial freak out.
I'm beyond thrilled to have such a unique tool glued to my camera, and I can't wait to create some magic with it! Thanks so much (especially hardcore and Ellijah, wow) for showcasing your work here.
I obviously have not mastered the technique yet, but here are my initial images:

Welcome brother! Super stoked for you! Glad that your first of hopefully many posts on this forum was established here this thread. I too draw inspiration and motivation from the veteran 58 crew. Great bunch of people here that are both helpful and knowledgeable. Keep the photos coming!
