What do you think of 58g as a landscape lens? I know corner might be a little bit soft , but will it matter ?
Not that I bought this lens for landscapes but you'd be surprised at how versatile it is. I'm pretty sure I've already posted these but here are some of mine:
Field curvature's quite flat at infinity and the corners are surprisingly good IMO. This lens behaves quite differently at infinity compared to near focusing distances.
Also bear in mind that one of the design objectives of this lens is low coma so this lens should be very good at rendering point light sources for night and low light 'scapes though I haven't really had a go at it yet.
Awesome shots, thanks, will definitely keep this lens with me when traveling

Taking pictures in Asheville, the light went down very quick. I started to see lightning bugs everywhere and this scene just looked beautiful and painterly with the fleeing light. I hope I did the scene Justice.
I really love how the bokeh point of lights are rendered with this lens.
Wonderful portrait work Elijah!
The wind in her hair and the scarf and the blue dress during the blue hour in front of the water really let this picture stand out besides the beautiful and expressive model!
We did our fireworks last night since mom has to work tonight. The little one was terrified of them at first, then when she finally started warming up to them, I had a fairly large fountain straight up explode about 5 seconds after lighting the fuse. There was a bunch of empty tubes/packages around it and there was nothing left but shards of cardboard/paper thrown in a 50ft circle... I may look like an idiot running after lighting fountains, but ya never know.
