Yeah, Playing with the idea of using some folding camera lenses. I have multiple extension ring sets, but this was just a proof of concept. Only damaged bit is the plastic body cap, and it was far thicker than I anticipated - about 3mm. If I cut it again I would have cut a 1-1.5mm relief a bit larger, then gone through in a single shot from the same side Forstner bits worked well. The cap is far stronger than needed. Here is a still life from about 6-7 feet at f5.6.
