Today, I joined the GFX club. Got a new 100S II. I feel like a newbie, starting all over but it will be fun to take my time. Went for a dog walk with the 45/2.8 and the camera on some basic settings. Images are pretty much SOOC with just some minor tweaking. This is going to be a fun camera!

Nice ... curious what your "early" take is on the colors you are getting / editing from the GFX vs. your other rigs.
I'd dig to see a "color" shootout with the M11 and some serious "torture testing" to see the limits of the M11 vs. if / when / where / how much diff there is vs. the GFX. That, or I'll just take your word ... i.e. not much, too close to call, a little, very nice diff or big diff.

It's early yet but the level of detail with the GFX is very apparent to me looking at an image on a monitor. I don't have to zoom in, I can see it. Fuji colors are great but so are Leica. And yet they're different. The files from the Fuji are very workable and yet, easy to take too far if one is not careful. Working the files from the M11 feels gentler and a bit harder to push too far.
I'll get around to doing something more comparative but these are initial thoughts.

Thanks for the "early" thoughts. No hurries on the "torture" stuff ... just more of an "if" you happen to run across a scenario, I'd be interested to see it.
