My wife and I are spending a week in London, and decided to take the tour bus trip (which we never do, and for good reason!) to Stonehenge. A little dissapointing as it was over 2 hours driving each direction, plus the mandatory random 28 minute stop on the way back, left us only 45 minutes at the site after we got through the line. We did have some pretty nice light to work with. Here are 3 I liked:
Things I learned. If you use a tripod, people treat it like a construction marker on the road, they just go around you However, you are also deemed a good photographer, which is debatable in my case, and end up doing TONS of pics of people next to Stonehenge. During one bizzare moment, my wife and I were continuing our "interacting with famous monuments/sites" series and had a dude videotape the entire thing. My 20 minutes of fame, I guess, at least for his poor family and friend who will be treated to it.
Mt. Hiuchi, Fukushima prefecture.
I was supposed to climb this mountain last Saturday, but failed..
Perhaps that saved me from freezing to death - didn't have tent with me, only a sleeping bag and a fairly light hooded sweater..
I missed your post. Thanks for the compliment! Nice work with the 90mm by the way. We had a great time in London, but have sadly reinserted ourselves into the daily grind again.
helimat and Krosavcheg, great photos with a fantastic lens.
