Hi Workerdone, thanks for the answer that makes good sense, I think I need to experiment with mine more, I recently acquired a nice B & W CPL but haven't really used it yet.
I notice that the drop in CPL's are quite expensive, from what you say it makes me wonder if its a worthwhile investment?

Rob, I use a 2 stop ND with my Chub, mainly so I can shoot wide open
in our constantly uber bright NM sun. Simply unscrew the 52mm NC
drop-in and replace with a B+W 102 (it won't break the bank)

they aren't exactly cheap items to buy on a whim are they! although that could be seen as an odd point of view if you have just bought a chubby?
^true. I bought mine since it seemed incomplete without it. I probably have more shots without it than with, but I'm glad I have it and if/when I sell it will be more attractive with the correct CPL included I think.
