Haha, I'll post some more babes by next week, so no worries.
What do you think of the D800 3D upgrade? Any good?

Hmm, I would but the D4 + 200/2 combo always got me the best results so far. Maybe I'll try this week or next (the updated D800 + 200/2) (:
If you can live with the fps...the files are simply amazing. (no offense to your D4)
I've printed jaw dropping 20 x 24 200% Jpeg crops
Well, I have a D800 as well, and sometimes when I crop, it's just ridiculous. I've cropped photos that were 1/6th-1/8th of the original (RAW+L+Lossy Compressed) and they were tack sharp (of course, need a sharp lens!)
This one was about 1/10th or less of the entire frame with a 200/2 V2 on D800
Excuse the FB compression. Will change to a 300 dpi version later when I get home.
Chris Court, sorry to disappointed you but it is only a kawasaki Z1000 2012! But I did mod it a lot!
I had lots of parts painted, had bixenon projectors installed, had the headlight painted and the list goes on and on!! It is a finish project! I'll have all my money for photo gear!
Thank you Rob! That is what I like about my bike, it's futuristic look! Some z1000 owner even put transformer sticker on them! So your not the only one who thinks it has a transformer look.
Hey Everyone, I have a question for all the 200 F2 users or in fact any of the big lens users.
How many of you use the drop in polarisers? what are the thoughts, opinions about their use?
Do they add a discernible difference to the images produced?
Have many of the images posted here used them?
Just a curiosity really, hope someone can enlighten
thanks
Definitely makes a difference, same as with any other setup. Given a choice, I would pretty much always use a polarizer for any lens. Lenses like my 35 and 85mm f1.4's most of the time have the CPL on them. Lets me go wide open in broad daylight if I want and improves color, contrast, etc. They have the speed to shrug off the loss of light from the filter.
Where I lose the CPL is if my shutter speeds are going down due to dimmer light and I don't have solid support (dusk, dawn, night shooting).
With the 200/2 and other exotics, they're often used under these conditions (struggling to keep shutters up and iso's down) so the CPL gets left in the bag or isn't even purchased.
