p.34 #1 · The Nikon 200mm f/2 Thread - part 2

Hi Workerdone, thanks for the answer that makes good sense, I think I need to experiment with mine more, I recently acquired a nice B & W CPL but haven't really used it yet.
I notice that the drop in CPL's are quite expensive, from what you say it makes me wonder if its a worthwhile investment?
Thanks
Rob

Rob, I use a 2 stop ND with my Chub, mainly so I can shoot wide open
in our constantly uber bright NM sun. Simply unscrew the 52mm NC
drop-in and replace with a B+W 102 (it won't break the bank)

Thanks TrenchMonkey So do you think the Nikon Drop in CPL has anything to add to the Chub?
sorry if I'm missing something here guys.
Thanks

Yeah, around water for sure. Hardly ever used mine and turned it after a year or so.

I see, thanks,
they aren't exactly cheap items to buy on a whim are they! although that could be seen as an odd point of view if you have just bought a chubby?

^true. I bought mine since it seemed incomplete without it. I probably have more shots without it than with, but I'm glad I have it and if/when I sell it will be more attractive with the correct CPL included I think.

Here's my humble contribution. Used a SB-910 w/umbrella for fill light.

I hope that he knows how to swim. He looks so vulnerable out there alone on the water.

Thanks George!

I'm pretty certain he can swim well, after seeing all the kids in the area swimming everywhere
