My first attempt to photograph fireworks. Easier than I thought and 35mm is a great focal length. These shots are really interesting when reviewing 1:1.

Busy again, but I have used the Like button.
Have to say though, Vlad, stunning light and colors in those!
I'm still enamored by the X-E1 and hardly touch poor RX1, but hopefully it's just a phase. I was so happy with the Sony and want those feelings back. A shot from May: Walking the dog by Helena Normark, on Flickr

Thanks Bob. The color tone is the same as I used to get traditionally with Forte PolyWarmtone paper toned in Selenium. As it turns out, the unusual redish brown was likely the result of the cadmium used in that paper.

Helena, glad your XE-1 is working out for you.
I got one last week and while the 14mm is indeed an excellent lens, I've been finding myself a little disappointed by the IQ. I've had a Xpro and X100 before so knew what to expect, and its quite good overall, better than many cameras, but just doesn't have the sharpness or resolution of the Zeiss paired with that 24meg sensor.
Also it just feels a bit more sluggish than the RX1. I didn't think of the RX1 as a speedy camera, and its not in terms of AF, but as far as image review, shutter lag etc, its near instant where the Fuji's take a little longer.
Also while still small, they make the RX1 seem downright tiny.

Sorry to hear that! When you are happy with something you hope that others will be too, but we all have different wants, needs and standards.
All I care about is lens rendering, overall clarity, colors, bokeh and things like that. As long as my basic requirements are met (and they are with almost any camera there is now) I don't care about things like sharpness, resolution, artefacts etc.. If something looks great in natural size on my 24" screen and decent when zooming in, I'm happy.
I haven't noticed any slugginess, but I'm a slow photographer, so that may be it. Also, I have a fast SD card. Maybe that helps a bit?

Bob, nice set again! Interesting reflections in the third one.

I'm getting my RX1 from Amazon Warehouse Deals tomorrow and can't wait. I was too quick to rush to judgement last time and don't think I fully appreciated and understood how to use it. It was like handing the keys to a Ferrari to someone who just learned to drive. Since then I've been using the NEX-6 and Zeiss 24 and yearn for more. I tried the XE-1 with kit zoom and 35, and while nice, didn't seem like that much of an improvement over the 6. I was expecting something revolutionary in terms of the so-called 'Fuji colors'. And while most seem to appreciate the retro design, I didn't like some things, most of which are just silly. Like when you delete an image, the scrolling of the deletion and the EVF seemed much lagging than the 6, which it is. Also the rear LCD was that much worse than the 6.
I'm going all in on the RX1 this time, ordering more accessories to make this one work for me. I even have 2 sets of grips coming in to evaluate and find the best fit for me, I'm planning an overseas trip in October so hopefully the next 3 months will give me enough time to hone my skills some.
