I was also replying that your candid and posed portraits are all standouts, in particular the board game angle ggweci favorited above. The night shots are technically very impressive, one of a woman overlooking the city, or the texture of the peking duck seller or fish shop owner standing over the tanks. All snapshots of unique life that you've shared. Outside of these, the motion at an intersection was particularly memorable, especially in timeless B&W. Thanks again for sharing!

As far as favorites, the pictures in the fish market, the men in the park playing the table game, and the picture of the cats peaking through. But there are lots of good images to choose from.

The picture of the man holding the sleeping child is terrific. I've never heard of a 'white powder' filter. How does it differ from a black mist filter?

You can purchase the white powder mist in the states, it's just labeled as "White Mist". If you look at your black mist filter, there are literally small black powder spots, so the white mist just has translucent or white particles vs the darker black ones. The halation and contrast ratios are stronger, and if you stop down a lot you avoid some of the black mist spots showing up in some shots as well.
I used black mist filters a very long time ago, then switched to glimmerglass shortly after, but recently I primarily just use the white mist variants as it's a better suits my needs.
On Amazon there is a company called Walking Way that makes some I've used before that's much cheaper than this Marumi one fitted on the RX, but the quality is similar. Most of the other Chinese companies have similar offerings. I like the Marumi/Kenko filters because usually the retaining ring is a little higher quality thread, but probably negligible differences in optical quality.

Thank you for the detailed answer. I'll consider picking one up.

Silly story. Photographing this particular car with a proper camera has been my white whale. I saw it a few months ago and stopped in my tracks. The beautiful oversized features. The gorgeous turquoise green color. The patina around the edges. I was smitten. But, sadly, I didn't have a camera with me that day. I've returned to this location many times since, always with a camera in tow, but the car was never there. Until I spotted it again today.
All with the RX1r.3.
Great photo, and I love the little story behind the shot. Glad you were eventually able to see the car again.

Snowy New Year's Day hike – the snow and lighting were pretty interesting. New to me but I’m kicking myself for not using this lens all these years… has some character.
