Thanks very much for the kind words about the tree on the previous page!
-Darrell, nice tones in your B&W photo at the top of the page!
-Joan interesting composition and the colors are great.
-deadwolfbones, I love cats and your photo is great.
It's quiet in here again, btw...
I have been away for a week (two short trips), so I have lots of photos, but I'll start with these two from Stockholm, since they are the only ones I have processed so far:

Helena,
Is that City Hall shot OOC or Post fiddling in PS or LR? I continue to be amazed at the dynamic range of that sensor/lens combination in the RX1
You have a lot of detail both in the shadows up front and in the bright background.
Thanks

Thank you both! We lived in Stockholm before we moved to Norway, so we visited some friends and I needed a new passport.
RX1's dynamic range (and metering) is really impressive and there's a lot more to get from both images if I wanted to. Both looked pretty good straight out of the camera though and needed very little adjusting.
I can't tell you how happy I am with this camera and how wonderful it is to walk around with. Last time we went to Stockholm I brought 5D and ZE 35/1.4. Results were fine, but in the end of the day it was so heavy. Also, I missed shots because I felt embarrassed about using the big camera for some mundane subjects. When I use RX1 people don't seem to care if I shoot mailboxes and things like that. (It's probably all in my head, but still.)
I rarely use a tripod, but sometimes it's good to have. It felt silly to carry my 2kg Manfrotto with a 480g camera, so before the trip I bought an aluminium Benro A155FBR0. It's only 800g, folds down to 40cm and can be extended to 130cm. I used it one evening in Old Town and it was perfect. It was pretty cheap, so we'll see how durable it is.

Catching up on thr latest posts here and have been too busy to process and post any of my latest images, hope to very soon. Been enjoying shooting in RAW and jpg in B&W mode, sometimes with contrast+2 like Vladi mentioned earlier. Weird how LR converts the RAW preview of an image taken inB&W mode with RAW and jpg from first coming up B&W to color. And I guess I manually have to import the camera jpgs.
Helena love the city hall shot and evening city lights reflection shot. Also like your B&W shots of the old mining town you posted in another forum. Glad you are enjoying your RX1 as I am too. And I take it everywhere and my girlfriend thinks I have gone crazy with all the shots I take of mundane things I see and my recent B&W kick.
Phil, really like your tea kettle and last street B&W shots.
Joan, nice colors in your last shot, very vivid!
Darellc , nice set of images, my favorite is the last B&W shot of the city at night with metal sculpture in front.

I really the mix of tones and textures of the wood and stone buildings and the clock tower which is very ornate with even mining tool symbols. Looks like an interesting place to photograph.

Wow! Helena, this set is great. especially last two. Last one show a really good use of 35mm focal length. slightly perspective distortion on horse really add 3D and presence.

I've been observing everyone's amazing images on this forum for months. Just thought I would see if I could link a few. Unlike my previous cameras, the luster grows the more I use the RX1 vs. wearing off. Thanks. -Tom
