Been awhile since I last posted due to not enough time lately. Enjoyed seeing everyone's images in this thread! Keep them coming!
Helena - Lovely wintery landscapes, my favorite being the misty farm, snowy bridge, and the frost image in the last set. Also like the night church shadows shot too. Love the sunset light and dreamy bokeh of the frost image.
Charles - Very nice beach and surf shots. Like the light and surf spray action.
Wee - Incredible street shots of Singapore. My favorite is # 15 in the first set. Really nice to see your work in the forum again. Been awhile. I want to shoot more street images which is what this camera is made for.
Joan - Nice B&W images, my favorite so far is the big cat tractor shot.
Joe - Great portraits of your son!
These are a few from last weekend:
Edit: Just redid a few of these that I thought were a little too dark, laptop monitor is too bright.

Thank you everyone, glad you like them. We had planned to go ice-skating, but the frost adds a lot of friction, so we decided to walk on the ice instead. It was actually quite fun, because without skates it was easier to explore the little islands. The low sun this time of year is great for photography. All of the photos above are taken at mid-day.
Carsten, I didn't know that RX1 is alt enough for Brian's monthly competition, that's good. I don't agree about what you said though, but it was a nice comment.
Charles, very nice photos again with lots of atmosphere. I especially like #1 and 2.

Thanks Wayne! Those sunset beach pics of yours looks excellent. Really like them all especially the one with the boy and dog and the first pic on the second set.
Helena, another excellent set! Looks like you are really enjoying the camera! Looking forward to more of your pics!
Charles, likewise, an excellent set! So much details in those shots.

Thanks for the kind comments Charles and Joe!
Charles, beautiful colors and details in the rock formations of the last two.
Did you blend exposures for those images?
I like the reflection in the fisherman shot.

Joe and Wayne, thank you. Much appreciated
Wayne, these shots are not blended, just RAW PP'd in LR4 The RX1 has quite amazing DR, even with bright sunlight in the background.

A few shots from tonight's Emmy Rossum event in the Boom Boom room. The RX1 locked on AF reliably, even though the light was hard to come by. Continuous shooting mode helped to capture just the right moment, the tiny package helped navigating the crowd and nobody yelled at me for shooting with a dSLR in a venue in which Patrick McMullan had exclusives to.
I absolutely adore this camera, the pre-order for the M240 is cancelled.

Charles, another nice set from the beach. Yes, the RX1 has an amazing amount of DR like my D800E.
Helena, Thanks! Like the light glistening off the frost covered grass in the last one.
Vladi, great portraits of Emmy singing! Wow, you were pretty close! First one is my favorite.
Hooligan, sorry you had to return your copy of RX1. Hope you get a good one back.

I don't think there is an alt scale, i.e. there is no such thing as not alt enough Forbidden are Canon-on-Canon and Nikon-on-Nikon.
I meant to say, but forgot to write: I am sure that #1 will be the crowd-pleaser, but actually I prefer #2. And I meant my comment, but it is based on my taste, and I don't win competitions, so maybe you are right
