Hello all,
I'm continously and silently reading this Forum since years but after I got my new Sony RX1 a few weeks ago I feel the urge to start sharing pictures with such a nice community here.
First of all let me state that I love and admire the pictures posted here, especially the oney by sebboh a HelenaN.
Really inspiring stuff you keep showing.
As my time in the past weeks for taking the RX1 out in the field was very limited I can only show you 2 pictures as of now, so here it goes:
Looking forward to your critique.
What I absolutly love sofar on the RX1:
- Stunning Detail
- Sharp from f2 onwards
- Good Zeiss Microcontrast
- Great Handling and Build Quality
I was using a 5dmk3 with Zeiss and Canon Glass sofar, and still am - but the RX1 is just one heck of a camera.

Welcome Dr Crane!
Glad you are enjoying your RX1!
I still enjoy mine like when I first got it back in Dec.
Pls post smaller as Jochen mentioned.
Cheers!

Thank you for the warm welcome, I have adjusted the pictures to 1280px wide, sorry for posting them to big earlier. I`m using a big 27inch screen so I did not noticed that they were too large.
I will try to post some more pictures in the coming weeks and months as I sure hope to have some more time opportunities to use the RX1.

As you may know not exactly getting on 100% with it so far. But also not had a great deal of time to really try/enjoy it. First one is just testing usability of OVF and shutter delay etc. Second just a photo on the train. Third is one from a wedding. I've taken it to 2-3 and used it late in the evening for the fun of having something tiny/light.
