Isn't camera raw 7.2 in PS? Or am I missing something?
Well it seems you're right but i'm using cs5 and the update is for dng files or something like that, i'm not sure it's a full update for cs5 or maybe i'm missing something

It's really hard to post images after the likes of Joseph and his awesome images. But in the interest in keeping this thread alive I'll throw a few on. This camera amazes me every time I load images into LR. This first one was shot at over 9000 ISO and all I did to it was convert it to a jpeg and sized it for here.
thanks, Leighton. The D600 is such a fun camera, isn't it? The shutter sound is almost addicting to hear.

DontShoot -- great images! Can I ask you what L-Bracket you are using on your D600?
Thanks,
Rob
Thanks Rob. I'm using a D700 Kirk L-bracket, modified to fit the D600.

DontShoot I think you should change that to PleaseShoot. Great photographs!!! Would love to hear more about the filters you use and processing, etc.
Thanks Ryan. My most used filter is the Lee big stopper with the Hitech 2 stop soft... however I'm finding out that I can work around the shadows and highlights much better with the D600's amazing DR so some of my ND grads are staying in the bag most of the time. I process in LR.. but there's not a lot of processing on these. Just simple level tweaks and that's it.

So Joseph, when are you going to get a MF lens for this thing? Beautiful images with the 16-35mm BTW.
Thanks Leighton
I have a MF lens.. the Zenitar 16 fisheye! Thanks for reminding me.. I still have yet to try that on this body. Do you use any MF lens on the D600?

Joseph, these are great shots, which software do you use for processing?
Thanks Uzay. I use LR 4.2 and it has no issues with the NEF files.

That's ALL I have. I don't own an AF lens. Maybe some time in the future, but for now, I'm having too much fun shooting with the old Nikkors. And the D600 handles them quite well. You can look at my profile for a list of lenses.
Found an epic sunset so I asked my son to pose (he was already getting bored)
No filters were used.. just a snapshot, then some level-tweaking in LR afterwards.

Curtis, is that you??
j/k.. I'd love to acquire a 105 2.5 AI again. I recently added the DK-22m magnifier on my D600 for an even bigger viewfinder. Hmm I should probably check with KEH and see if they have a BGN 105 2.5, then I can join you and Curtis at the MFNG thread

At the risk of getting off topic, how do you like the dk-22, and which eyepiece did you get with it?
It's the DK-22m, it's a magnifier that was originally used for FX bodies, but since the D600 has the square eyepiece, it also fits it. I think it's good.. but not as awesome as the DK-17m, which unfortunately only works with bodies that use the round eyepiece. The DK-22m blurs the numbers on the bottom of the D600.........although not bad. It does make the screen BIG, making the D600 "feel" like the nice F100.
