It's the DK-22m, it's a magnifier that was originally used for FX bodies, but since the D600 has the square eyepiece, it also fits it. I think it's good.. but not as awesome as the DK-17m, which unfortunately only works with bodies that use the round eyepiece. The DK-22m blurs the numbers on the bottom of the D600.........although not bad. It does make the screen BIG, making the D600 "feel" like the nice F100.

Would you have a link? All I can find is the DK-22 which is the adapter.

Leighton, I apologize.. it's DK-21M, not 22. lol, I don't know why I keep thinking 22.
Here's the link: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/407315-REG/Nikon_25339_DK_21M_Magnifying_Eyepiece.html

Johan, isn't the ability to crop like this wonderful! It opens up a whole new realm of photography for me.

More D600. Stuff that was harder before;

like a dark aquarium (ISO 1600)

Or a small monkey with black eyes (DR helps tremendously here)

Or a bird in flight:

More over at my blog: http://johanronsse.be/blog/

If you have D600 questions do not hesitate to ask

I know there's a lot of people who say you should never crop in post, that you should ONLY crop while shooting. Well I don't always have that luxury for one reason or another. With this camera and all it's resolution, it has made my life a little better. Because I'm not one of those people who say that you MUST crop in camera.

Now I know you can go overboard cropping in post if you're not careful, but sometimes it works. And after all, if the final image pleases you, then that's all that matters.

Here's a little example of what I'm talking about. The final image is about an 80 percent crop.

Very nice, Leighton. I love the processing.. and +1 on the crop-ability! When I got the D600, I became a pixel peeper I like how I can keep zooming in and the image never runs out of data. I couldn't do this with my D700.

Thanks Joseph. When I first got my D7000 I thought wow, I can really crop now if need be. The D600 takes it to a different level.
