Wow - the geometry in 16 is just fantastic. 22 is SO powerful... To me, it is extremely evocative of engagement. He is a strong, masculine figure in the background always there for her, always on her mind. Really love it. Thanks for the inspiration!

I really dig these. Probably the best I've seen in a while. As for people not seeing a stereotypical ES? Really? These shots are powerful and I'd say the couple fits right in with these and wanted something not-to-run of the mill. These are engagement shots and they fit the couple perfectly.

I'm inspired. I love the contrast, the textures, and the way I explore each image for more information. There are so many great ones, but I especially love 2, 8, 16 & 21. Excellent work.

Very artistic. I think maybe 2 couples within a 100 mile radius of my house would appreciate photos like this. Sad, really. It's fabulous work, yet almost totally un-sellable in my area.
That said several of the shots were a bit too 'sterile' for me, lacking feeling/emotion between the couple. Some of them were artistic genius (particularly the one w/the kid running at them with them at the bottom of the steps).
This is photographer's photography, not mass-market photography.

^ I disagree, respectfully. I think non photographers would be equally blown away by these images and if they are in it then all the more reason to own it.
I do think photography has become generic on a mass scale but this is a problem at the photographers end when they serve up the same type of images as everyone else.
Offer clients something better and i think you would see them gravitate to it.

I would burn her hand and the cup so it doesn't look so blown out and also draw attention. Out of curiosity are they this melodramatic/stoic in person?
